There is a saying that goes “OCTOBER is to photographers, what APRIL is to accountants”. It’s so true. This reminded me I had taken some photos around Chicago last October on Columbus Day and one picture in particular stood out in my mind (see below). The color of this elm tree hasn’t left me. It was the color of sunshine, as bright yellow as bright yellow could get. How beautiful.
I never got around to posting these pictures from last October, however, I’m sure not “too much” has changed since then. So feel free to take a Fall stroll around the city.
