Fall in the City

There is a saying that goes “OCTOBER is to photographers, what APRIL is to accountants”. It’s so true. This reminded me I had taken some photos around Chicago last October on Columbus Day and one picture in particular stood out in my mind (see below). The color of this elm tree hasn’t left me. It was the color of sunshine, as bright yellow as bright yellow could get. How beautiful.img_2032
