An Act of Kindness

“An act of kindness, no matter how small is ever wasted.”

My dear friend Sandy has the uncanny ability to remember little details of conversations we have shared.  There was the time we talked about how I had a dream about owning a beach cruiser bike with a wicker basket in the front and a rack on the back (true story…lol.)  So for my birthday (back in March), she went out and bought me my beach cruiser bike (sort of!) 🙂

The other day in yoga class, she arrives toting a brown paper gift bag and hands it to me. She said she thought of me when she saw this because of the conversation we had about how I have been searching for an authentic milk glass cake stand.  In the bag was the most adorable little green and white milk glass vase.  Perfect for my little roses that grow on the side of the house.

It’s the little things in life that make you smile like an idiot!  Thank you, Sandy for your special friendship…love you bunches.  But remember, what Peter said…”I was his friend first”.  LOL xoxo
